Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct

This Code of Professional Conduct shows commitment by ACE members (managers, consultants and trainers) to the obligation to maintain self-discipline above and beyond the requirements of law, ethical benchmarks and best practices. Thus, it notifies all stakeholders that ACE members will maintain a high level of ethics and professional service, and proclaims that in return for the faith that the public places in them, all the members accept the obligation to conduct their practice in a way that will be beneficial to society.

  • Act with integrity, competence, diligence, respect, and in an ethical manner with the public, clients, prospective clients, trainees, clients’ employees, colleagues in the profession, and other participants in the global markets.

  • Place the integrity of the profession and the interests of clients above their own personal interests.

  • Use reasonable care and exercise independent professional judgment when conducting training evaluation, providing recommendations, taking development actions, and engaging in other professional activities.

  • Practice and encourage others to practice in a professional and ethical manner that will reflect credit on themselves and the profession.

  • Promote the integrity of ACE and uphold its rules governing Train-the-Trainer programs.

  • Maintain and improve their professional competence and strive to maintain and improve the competence of their clients according to ACE Quality and Delivery Standards (ACEQDS).

Qualifying Trainers & Consultants

At ACE we only engage consultants and trainers who are prepared and get qualified based on International Standards.

Professional Attitude

In recognition of the interest and obligation to professionalism, ACE members must:

  • Exercise independence in thought and action.

  • Hold the affairs of their clients in strict confidence.

  • Continuously strive to improve their professional skills.

  • Advance professional standards of training.

  • Take account of human, cultural, and other differences.

  • Uphold the honor and dignity of the profession.

  • Maintain ACE standards of personal conduct.

  • Promote fair, safe and sustainable learning environment.

  • Strive to achieve the balance between interest as a trainer and that of the client.

Independence and Objectivity

ACE members must maintain independence and objectivity in their professional activities. They must not offer, solicit, or accept any gift, benefit, compensation, or consideration that reasonably could be expected to compromise their own or another’s independence and objectivity.

Misinterpretation

ACE members must not knowingly make any misrepresentations related to training & consultancy, recommendations, actions, or other professional activities.

Misconduct

ACE members must not engage in any professional conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, or deceit or commit any act that reflects adversely on their professional reputation, integrity, or competence.

REPONSIBILITIES AS AN ACE MEMBER

ACE certified consultants and trainers must not engage in any conduct that compromises the reputation, integrity, validity, or security of ACE examinations and evaluations.



Payment and Invoicing
By registering for a public course provided by ACE, participants agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions, which are governed by the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Upon deciding to enroll in a course, participants must submit full payment in advance, as no reservation will be confirmed without payment of the complete course fee, inclusive of the applicable VAT. The fee quoted at the time of registration will include all relevant taxes, and any further charges, such as bank transfer fees or other transactional costs, shall be borne by the participant. Payment must be made through credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or, upon request, through a bank wire transfer to the bank details stated on the invoice. ACE does not accept payments by cash, and no provisional bookings or spot reservations will be entertained without full payment.
Once full payment has been received and processed, ACE will issue a VAT-compliant invoice upon the completion of the course. These invoices are governed by the KSA VAT laws and regulations and will reflect the full amount paid. Participants will not be able to request changes, discounts, or negotiations on the invoice once it has been issued. The currency for all transactions will be as agreed upon at the time of registration, and no currency changes will be entertained after the issuance of the invoice. Participants are required to provide correct payment details and ensure that any bank transfer includes the appropriate reference number for accurate processing. ACE reserves the right to refuse attendance to any participant who has not settled the payment in full before the course commencement. Failure to pay on time may result in the participant being denied entry to the course, and no course certificate will be issued in such cases.

Credit facility
For corporate clients, and upon a client’s request, ACE may offer a credit facility of 15 calendar days for the payment of due invoices. ACE reserves the right to approve or decline such a request. Customers with a credit facility must pay their due invoice(s) within 15 calendar days from the invoice(s) date of issue. Delaying payment for more than 15 calendar days will lead to a withdrawal of the credit facility and/or to other measures.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
ACE reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course due to unforeseen circumstances, or switch to virtual if the need arises. In the event of a cancellation by ACE, participants will be informed no later than five working days before the course start date. If a course is canceled by ACE, participants will be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid. However, ACE will not be held responsible for any additional expenses incurred by participants as a result of the cancellation, such as travel costs, accommodation, visa fees, or any other personal expenses. In such cases, ACE's liability will be limited to the refund of the course fee only.
Participants who wish to cancel their registration must inform ACE in writing. For cancellations made more than 10 working days before the start date of the course, participants will be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid, minus any applicable bank charges. If the cancellation occurs within 6 to 10 working days before the course begins, participants will be subject to a 20% deduction on their paid fees. Cancellations made less than 5 working days before the course start date will be subject to a 50% deduction on the paid training fees. If the registration is canceled on time, clients will be entitled to a refund for the amount they paid to ACE, minus any bank charges incurred by ACE. Alternatively, clients may choose to keep the amount paid as credit in their account with ACE. In such cases, the client must inform ACE in writing on how to use the credit, and which invoice it will be applied to. Refunded amounts shall be reimbursed within three calendar weeks from the date of the cancellation notice. To correctly allocate payments against invoices, clients must mention the invoices reference number.

General terms and conditions
Clients are responsible for any type of tax levied in their country. This agreement is governed by the rules of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Saudi courts.
